TLG Back at Las Tortugas Dance of the Dead Halloween Celebration

Tea Leaf Green will once again headline the Las Tortugas Dance of the Dead Halloween Celebration at the Evergreen Lodge in Groveland, CA near Yosemite National Park. The festival will take place from 10/30 to 11/2. Cabins at the lodge will go on sale May 15th at 8 AM.

After a 2 1/2-year absence, we will be making our return to Sin City at Jillian's on June 27th. Also, please stand by for details on a special webcast event the night before, 6/26, also in Las Vegas. There will be less than 100 tickets available to attend the 6/26 performance and will be available only at TLG Ticketing.

That same weekend we will continue our Bay Area Summer Solstice tradition with a two night run at the Great American Music Hall on 6/28 and 6/29.

Pre-order Seeds Box Set

Tea Leaf Green's first three studio albums (Tea Leaf Green, Midnight on the Reservoir, and Living In Between) will be re-released as a three CD box set and is now available for pre-order. Entitled Seeds, the release will be the first from TLG's new partnership with Surfdog Records. The scheduled release date is Earth Day: 4/22/08.

A Six Week Sit-in on Bass

We are extremely pleased to announce that Steve Adams of ALO will be filling in on bass for TLG while Reed Mathis fulfills his prior commitments. A full April run with Steve will be confirmed soon.

Here Come the Festivals

In addition to the already announced Jam in the Dam (3/16-19), Wakarusa (6/5-8), and Floyd Fest (7/25), TLG has confirmed a few more festival stops along the way with more to follow.

For the third Memorial Day Weekend (5/22-25) in a row, Summer Camp (Chillicothe, IL) will be the place to be. Other confirmed acts included, moe., Umphrey's McGee, The Flaming Lips, Hot Buttered Rum, plus many more.

For the second year in a row, we will return to the Monterey Music Summit (Monterey, CA) on 6/1. Stay tuned for the initial artist announcement.

On 4th of July Weekend (7/3-6), ROTHBURY (Rothbury, MI) will make its first appearance on the festival circuit. Come see TLG, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh and Friends, Gov't Mule, plus many more.

Rex Foundation Benefit at The Fillmore

Come join Tea Leaf Green and Moonalice for a special Rex Foundation Benefit Reception before the Fillmore show on February 29th. The reception will include food and drinks and an opportunity to mingle with the artists from both bands.

Tickets for the reception and concert can be purchased for $100 (All but $50 is tax deductible) at the Rex Foundation's Web site. If you already purchased a concert ticket and want to attend the reception, you can get an upgrade for $76.50. Concert tickets can be purchased for $23.50 through Live Nation, Ticketmaster, or at The Fillmore box office. $1.00 of every ticket benefits the Rex Foundation.

Bring TLG to Your Home Town

New Year's Run Confirmed

TLG will ring in the New Year in Bridgeport, CT at Klein Memorial Auditorium. The show will be a co-bill with The Wailers with TLG playing first. Tickets are on sale now and will include an open bar.

In addition to the already announced show with Gov't Mule at the Beacon Theatre in New York on 12/29, Tea Leaf Green will also be at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA on 12/28 (co-bill with w/ Jimmy's Chicken Shack, TLG closes) and at The 8X10 in Baltimore, MD on 12/30 (co-bill with The Hackensaw Boys, TLG closes).

A Message From Ben and Tea Leaf Green

After ten great years on the road as a touring musician, I have come to the realization that this life is not for me. As a result, I have decided to leave Tea Leaf Green to pursue some of my life's other passions. I wish my brothers in the band only the best. Their future is surely bright. Most of all, I am so grateful to my family, friends, and fans. You've always encouraged my free spirit; thanks for your continued support.

In any band, there exists a dynamic between the collective's goals and those of the individual members. At times, aspirations that were once aligned, diverge. This is one of those times. We support Ben's decision without reservation and wish him only the best. We know he put his heart and soul into thinking this through, just like he did with Tea Leaf Green these past ten years; we admire Ben for staying true to himself.

As one chapter ends, so another begins. In this moment of transition, we've reached out to our good friend, Reed Mathis, who enthusiastically accepted the torch. Please join us in Santa Cruz as we welcome Reed to the band. Let's get this show on the road!
